  1. this is yet another great fillmore east april show, this was released back in early on koine records, this came on rather thick vinyl for its time and i really dig the classic /70 live shot this laminated sleeve offers, great sound here, this was also released by the same label at the same time on cd, the steadman artwork was used for the cd, this live shot is actually a shot /5(63).

Themes of the song include peer pressure to conform and young men's insecurity about their manhood. The song has been heavily praised by Genre: Power pop.

  4. There is no mystery at all about who these masked men are! Behind the made-up names of Sam Dogg, Rockin' Leon, Miller Washington and Johnny X, are none other than Sir Doug Sahm with compadres Alvin Crow, Speedy Sparks and John X Reed, all of whom had passed through the Sir Douglas Quintet and its many offshoots over the years.4/5(2).

  6. Don't waste your money on the regular version of this CD. The deluxe version gives you the mono and stereo mix plus some well appreciated bonus material. It's hard to recall but the B side of one of those 45s had Mary Anne with the Shaky Hands. At first I was disappointed with the album version until I realized the U.S. mix was here as well/5().
